PJMAN & THE STARGAZERS

July 2016, CEO & Principal, Sonja C. Stewart, started a LinkedIn group for Project Management Professional to give back to their communities starting in Oakland, CA. The group consists of about 53 Project Management Professionals from around the world, with most being in the US and the majority located in the San Francisco / Bay Area of California.   The purpose of the group is to allow members to demonstrate their skills while at the same time giving back to their communities.  Since Sonja is born, raised and currently lives in Oakland, CA she wanted to start there.  Since she has been volunteering the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years, she understands the challenges facing non-profits, community-based organizations and kids so she decided to focus on teaching them project management skills.

OUR FLAGSTAFF PROGRAM:  PJMAN & THE STARGAZERS KIDS

In December 2016, while looking of  a project  she ran into the MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment - a non-profit that teaches kids how to program Scratch Video Games for free.  Scratch was developed by MIT as a tool to teach kids how to code.  Starting in December 2016, she started partnering with the MADE.  They teach the kids how to code and she teaches the kids project management and leadership skills.  To learn more, visit:  http://pjmanthestargazers.com/

ANGELS UNAWARE

Under the PJMan & The StarGazers program, we stand in agreement with God and the bible that every man, woman and child deserves respect and dignity regardless of status, race, gender, religion, creed, etc.   We don't have to agree to see and value the humanity in others.   As we are led by God we will make a difference in our community and seek to be the change we wish to see in the world (Mahatma Gandhi) by working on projects such as feeding the homeless, helping to support non-profits that serve the homeless and people in need, advocating on behalf of people who don't have a voice or skills, influence to do so for themselves, etc....   Next major project - The healthcare system (SMH)

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Starting August of 2020, StarGazer Enterprise is partnering with the City of Oakland via the Lao Family Youth Employment Development Program to mentor and coach Oakland youth and help prepare them for their future careers.

Our youth learn how to manage our Social Media and Market campaigns, Finances, Research and Business Development efforts.  To our amazement, many bring well developed skills.

As the interns help with our needs, all interns complete assignments to develop career
decision making skills to make better choices regarding career options.  We teach them market
research skills to identify their competition, salary goals and others they may
want to emulation.  They also learn business and entrepreneurial skills to help them
understand how the work they perform contributes to the company's goals, strategy
and objectives.
